Migrating from Wordpress

I have decided to stop using Wordpress and transfer my essays to Blogger.  You can find a explanation on why I decided to do this here.  On the upper right corner of the migrated essays you will find the original post date. New posts will have the standard date on the left side of the essay.  Thanks.

In June 26, 2015 the Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay marriage. Back then I had an account with Wordpress. The day the court ruling went public I noticed across the top of my dashboard a symbol of gay pride -- the "rainbow". This alteration somehow disabled the functionality of the dashboard and I could not edit or use other functions as well. It was like a smack in the face.

I don't hate gay people, or whatever the politically correct term is these days, and I don't go out of my way to express how feel about same sex marriage. (Maybe I will in another post) I thought, however, this was a deliberate assault on what the Bible teaches on homosexuality. Later that night I was able to use the post function so I complained about it.

After my complaint the ribbon disappeared and things returned to normal. Because of this, and on the basis of Christian principle,I felt I had to delete my account. Too bad. I liked Wordpress. They have cool themes and I thought it was much easy to navigate around in the dashboard.

Businesses should just stay out of politics and social issues. A sad ending, but there you have it.
